In the midst of political turmoil and social unrest, God continues to provide for His people in Haiti. The Lord recently allowed us to acquire a second ministry compound in a safer area of the country, which enabled us to move Pastor Poyis and our children out of gang-ruled Onaville. God truly answers prayer. Over the past few years, the church in Haiti has faced heavy challenges. Gangs have repeatedly targeted pastors for kidnappings, creating an indirect form of persecution for Christian congregations as a whole. Today, we asked our founder, Greg Barshaw, to share what this political instability has meant for the church in Haiti and talk about the new ministry opportunities we’ve encountered as a result.
