Director’s House Construction

I shared recently about the start of our construction work on the Children’s Homes director’s house, and I want to share a bit more of that story today. Answers to Prayer

I want to share with you today about some work we did on a recent construction project in Haiti. We prayed for years for the means and opportunity to build our director’s house at the Mercy Home, and on this trip, the time had come. Water Truck

Since 2014, Onaville, Haiti has been home to the Connect 2 Ministries compound. The Haitian government selected Onaville to relocate people from tent cities in Port-au-Prince after the 2010 earthquake, and it has been estimated that there are 800,000 people living in this barren area. One of the ways we serve our community in Haiti is by distributing food and supplies. A Heart for the Nations

I went with a team from the US one day to visit the children at the Regency Home. Dr. Jarvis, one of our faithful volunteers, brought them a jump rope, and the games began. On one of our trips to Haiti, we spent a long day out and about before arriving back at the compound around 6:00 p.m. It was cloudy and threatening to rain, but the temperature felt nice.
