Children’s Homes
Children’s Homes
Each of our children lives in one of the three homes below.
Mercy Children’s Home
Families that cannot afford to care for their children give them away to secure a better life. Tragically, this practice often leads to servitude, deprivation, and abuse—in Creole, these children are called restaveks. The girls at our Mercy Home have been rescued from slavery and now live in an environment where they are loved, educated, and given a hope-filled future. The Mercy Children’s Home was sponsored by Children’s Hunger Fund and Dr. Myron Wentz.
Regency Children’s Home
Families that cannot afford to care for their children give them away to secure a better life. Tragically, this practice often leads to servitude, deprivation, and abuse—in Creole, these children are called restaveks. The boys in our Regency Home have been rescued from slavery and now live in an environment where they are loved, educated, and given a hope-filled future. The Regency Children’s Home was sponsored by Regency Lighting.
Sheepfold Children’s Home
The late Pastor Timote started a local church in Cap Haitian which now oversees the Sheepfold Children’s Home. Your monthly donation ensures these children are cared for and taught about the love of Jesus Christ.
