Local Church
Each team typically comes in connection with a church or partner ministry, and each individual is personally interviewed before being approved—we also ask for a reference from each team member’s pastor as further confirmation in the process. The primary goal of this approach is to center our work in the local church. The church is what distinguishes Christian ministry from humanitarian work, and we seek to prioritize that gospel framework by involving the local congregation at every opportunity.
