Prayer is more than a formula or prescription—it is rooted in relationship and may look different at different times and in different seasons. Yet there are a few constants in our ongoing prayer requests, and those requests reflect our constant need of the Lord. Here are a few examples.
1. Leadership. One of the key areas where we ask for prayer is for our leadership team. We pray for wisdom, discernment, and strength in navigating challenges and making decisions. We ask God for clarity, strength, and peace.
2. Outreach Efforts. Our ministry seeks to reach individuals and communities with the love of Christ, and we constantly pray for the effectiveness of our outreach efforts. This includes asking God to prepare hearts to receive the message and to open doors for new opportunities to serve.
3. Financial Provision. Like many ministries, we rely on financial support to fulfill our mission. We pray for God’s provision in this area, asking Him to bless the efforts of those who give and to bring in the necessary resources to sustain our ministry.
4. Community. We pray for the communities we serve. We ask God to touch the lives of individuals who are struggling, broken, or lost. We seek His intervention in addressing their needs—be it physical, emotional, and ultimately spiritual. We pray for transformation and healing.
5. Spiritual Growth. Our mission includes fostering spiritual growth among those we serve. We pray for those who participate in our programs and activities. asking God to deepen their faith, draw them closer to Him, and equip them for their own ministry.
6. Protection and Guidance. Spiritual warfare is a reality in any ministry. We pray for protection over Connect 2 Ministries from both temporal and spiritual attacks, and we ask God to guide our steps.
7. Thankfulness and Praise. We celebrate the victories, both big and small, acknowledging that victory ultimately belongs to the Lord. God’s faithfulness is the reason we can come to Him with any request, and that is a source of thanksgiving.
