In missions, understanding why we go is one of the most important things we can do. To serve well in any context, we need a clear motivation and guiding principles to help keep our focus. All of that starts with a vision for the need of the lost—something we can only understand because we were once lost ourselves but have now been found. We go in compassion for those who do not yet know Christ.
