One of the most practical ways we serve the church in Haiti is through short-term ministry trips. Teams from our US partner churches come to serve and encourage the church in Haiti in a variety of ways, and it’s always a refreshing time for those involved.

Ministry projects, often involving some aspect of construction (ranging from light to heavy), administration, or staff support.

Relationship building and strengthening.

Teaching God’s Word or studying Scripture alongside Haitian individuals, either adults or kids from our Children’s Homes and the community.

Join an outreach program

Local Church

Each team typically comes in connection with a church or partner ministry, and each individual is personally interviewed before being approved—we also ask for a reference from each team member’s pastor as further confirmation in the process. The primary goal of this approach is to center our work in the local church. The church is what distinguishes Christian ministry from humanitarian work, and we seek to prioritize that gospel framework by involving the local congregation at every opportunity. Doing More

We are also looking to do more with our professional development center in the coming months, so experience related to cooking, medicine, automotive repair, or other trade skills will be especially helpful moving forward.
