An Afternoon in Town One afternoon in Haiti, we drove into town for a trip to the store. It took us about fifteen minutes to get there, and on the way, we drove through some busy streets filled with cars, trucks, motorcycles, and people. The store was called Cassandra, and there were armed guards at the entrance. It was about the size of a Walgreens, but it sold items like you would find in a Walmart. A Special Time Together

A Special Time Together Whenever I visit the Children’s Home, I’m reminded of how much our kids love people. I walked in the door with a couple members of a recent team, and five seconds hadn’t gone by before the children came over to meet us. The little ones love to be held, and the older kids just wanted to be around people. We sat down and the kids began to bring their homework over to work near us.
