His Mercy Reigns

On one of our trips to Haiti, we spent a long day out and about before arriving back at the compound around 6:00 p.m. It was cloudy and threatening to rain, but the temperature felt nice. We knew the kids would love an evening outside, so Poyis brought the children out to the front of the Regency Home (the “soccer” area) and told them to run around and play. He brought out a few bikes and let some of the older ones ride them around the field. This was a special treat for them, and I [...]

He began attending a church near where he lived, and continued faithfully in ministry there for many years. He served as a Sunday school teacher before deciding to leave [...]

Seeing the Fruit

Over the last few months, ministry has looked different for Connect 2 Ministries than we might have expected. Haiti has seen ongoing governmental turmoil, and the economy has struggled to stabilize following the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse in July 2021. But in spite of those unforeseen challenges, God has been doing wonderful things in Haiti, especially at our Children’s Homes. In December 2021, we were able to distribute more than 250 Creole Bibles and audio Bibles to the children at our Regency and Mercy Homes, thanks to our generous donors who partnered with [...]
