Every year, Connect 2 Ministries sets aside a day to pray, advocate, and raise awareness for restavek children in Haiti. This November, we’re inviting everyone—whether you’re in southern California or far away—to join us in solidarity.

What to Expect
If you live near Simi Valley, join us in person at Rancho Simi Community Park on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The day will include:

• A family-friendly walking route with prayer stops
• Opening and closing gatherings to connect and share updates about the ministry
• Children’s activities
• Food truck dinner

Not in Southern California?
Join from your hometown!
If you’re not local, you can still walk in your own neighborhood at the same time or throughout the day as it works for you. Our goal is to form a chain of footsteps across neighborhoods, cities, and states—all with the goal of breaking the chains of bondage in Haiti.

When you walk locally:

• Pause for prayer, or Scripture along your route, just as we will in Simi Valley
• Share photos or short videos on social media with the hashtag #WalkForRestaveks, tagging @connect2ministries

Whether you’re walking with us in person or virtually in your own community, your steps matter. They scream out: These children are not forgotten.

How to Get Involved

1. Register — Whether you join in Simi Valley or from afar, register on our website!
   
2. Walk & Pray — Walk your route, take time to reflect, and pray for justice and freedom.
   
3. Share & Fundraise — Invite friends, churches, and networks to support you. Post pictures, share your story, and help raise awareness.
   
4. Report Back — Send us your walk summary, photos, or reflections so we can include you in our highlights of the day.
